The beauty of the coastline around Brixham is, in my humble opinion, the equal of any other, particularly the area south of the National Nature Reserve at Berry Head around to Kingswear.
Battery Gardens Archway, Brixham. Battery Gardens have a known military history as far back as the Napoleonic Wars and was a World War 2 Coastal Defence Battery. Many of the emplacements can still be seen.
